20th Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival 🏖️ A Celebration of Creativity

The Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival is back for its 20th year, bringing world-class sand sculptors to the picturesque shores of Revere Beach. This annual event is a beloved tradition that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world, offering a vibrant celebration of artistry, culture, and community.

In addition to the awe-inspiring sand sculptures, the festival features over 75 food vendors, food trucks, and exhibitors, live music, interactive activities, amusement rides, fireworks, and a lively atmosphere that creates a memorable experience for attendees of all ages.

This year's festival features a lineup of talented sand sculptors from around the world, each with their own unique style and story.

Here's a brief introduction to each sculptor:

  1. Melineige Beauregard & Chris Guinto (Hawaii) Melineige Beauregard and Chris Guinto are a dynamic duo known for their incredible sand sculptures. They push each other to the extreme limits of their abilities, creating works that have been described as "Supernatural," "Divine providence," and "Number one on my bucket list."

  2. Morgan Rudluff (California) Morgan Rudluff is a California native who discovered sand sculpting in 2007. She has traveled the world as a professional sand sculptor, spreading joy through her art and creativity. In 2018, she shifted her focus to a career in the healing arts, but continues to sculpt sand part-time.

  3. Slavian Borecki (Poznan, POLAND) Slavian Borecki is a freelance sculptor with over 26 years of experience. He has participated in numerous sand, snow, and ice sculpture festivals and competitions, winning many awards. He works with a variety of mediums, including bronze, stone, resin, and ice.

  4. Deborah Barrett-Cutulle (Saugus) Deborah Barrett-Cutulle is a full-time artist who works as an illustrator, muralist, and sand sculptor. She is a graduate of the Art Institute of Boston and has been involved in the Revere Beach Sand Sculpting Festival since its first year in 2005.

  5. Abe Waterman (PEI, CANADA) Abe Waterman, also known as "Mediocre Abe," is a self-deprecating sculptor who creates works that are described as "riveting and adrenaline-inducing" as a sloth enclosure. He invites visitors to leave their kids at home and experience the Zen of doing nothing.

  6. Karen Fralich (Ontario, CANADA) Karen Fralich has been creating sand sculptures for 28 years and has won numerous titles, including 5 World Championship titles. She specializes in fantasy and whimsical themes and has traveled the world collaborating with other artists and companies.

  7. Greg J. Grady (NH) Greg J. Grady is a self-taught artist and a second-generation sand sculptor. He is a Marine vet and has been sculpting sand professionally for 15 years. He has worked on projects around the country and competed in sand sculpting competitions around the world.

  8. Ndricim (Jimmy) Bejko (POLAND) Ndricim (Jimmy) Bejko is an Albanian American artist who has worked as a professional sculptor, painter, restorationist, and designer for 19 years. He is a multi-disciplinary artist who is getting involved in sand sculpting for the first time at the Revere Beach festival.

  9. Bouke Atema (NETHERLANDS) Bouke Atema is a biology and arts enthusiast who has worked as a professional sculptor, photographer, and ornithologist. He has worked with the best avian photographers in Europe and is now getting involved in sand sculpting.

  10. Hanneke Supply (NETHERLANDS) Hanneke Supply has been involved in sand sculpting for over 20 years. She studied interior design and has worked on projects around the world, combining her love of sculpting with her passion for illustration.

  11. Bruce Phillips (CA) Bruce Phillips has been involved in the art of sand sculpting for over 30 years. He has created sand sculptures at events and competitions around the world and is also a fabricator of sculptures for other artists.

  12. Jonathan (Jobi) Bouchard (CANADA) Jonathan Bouchard, also known as Jobi, has been sculpting professionally for 9 years. He has a unique and creative style and has participated in many international sand sculpting competitions.

  13. Matsugi Yoshiko (JAPAN) Matsugi Yoshiko is the only female professional sand sculptor in Japan. She has been actively participating in international events since 2018 and is excited to bring her talents to Revere Beach.

  14. Jeroen Advocaat (NETHERLANDS) Jeroen Advocaat is an illustrator and sculptor who has been creating sculptures of sand and ice around the world for many years. He has designed several international sand sculpture festivals and has participated in television ice sculpture contests.

  15. Susanne Ruseler (NETHERLANDS) Susanne Ruseler is a sculptor who has been sculpting full-time since 2008. She has worked with a variety of materials, including sand, snow, ice, clay, foam, and concrete, and has traveled the world working on projects, events, and competitions
